WDE Recruitment are looking for Class 2 RoRo drivers for their client in Hull. You must have some form experience of skips and have 6 months + on your license for insurance purposes. You will be working for one of the largest Recycling companies in the North. Full Training given on drivers assessments and WTD (drivers hours, bridge heights etc). Must be able to speak fluent English and be able to communicate at all levels.

For insurance purposes you must be 23 years and over

Job Specification

• To deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the WTD
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
• Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after deliveries after shift.
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business

RTW

• Valid DQC card
• Valid Digi Card
• Full UK driving licence.
• HGV class 1 experience (Minimum 12 months)
• maximum 6 points (No DR, DD or NI codes)

Good knowledge of Rachet Straps, covering loads with netted covers and good geographical knowledge. Some distribution into London so must have good knowledge of London.
